The lottery official announced that the Friday, July 24th, 2026, Mega Millions drawing resulted in a rollover, producing an $800,000,000 jackpot for the next drawing Tuesday. The cash value will be a projected $$344.2 million. The numbers from Friday, July 24th, 2026 drawing were 02-05-42-44-60 with Mega Ball number 01 and Megaplier x.

Though the jackpot was not hit Friday evening, Mega Millions did produce some big winners. There were a total of 13 3rd prize winners. Among them, 13 tickets matched 4 of the 5 lotto numbers, as well as the Mega Ball number. Those tickets are each worth $10,000.

Also, 272 tickets matched 4 of the 5 lotto numbers. Those tickets are each worth $500. There were 789 tickets that correctly matched 3 white ball numbers plus the Mega Ball and also won $200.

With nine different prize levels, there were a total of 1,000,514 winning tickets sold nationwide in the Friday, July 24th, 2026 drawing.

Mega Millions lottery is played in 43 states and D.C. It holds the record highest jackpot in United States lottery history. The minimum Mega Millions advertised jackpot is $40 million. The annuity option is paid in 30 equal yearly payments. Winners may select one time lump sum cash payout instead.
