The jackpot for Tuesday's Mega Millions drawing skyrockets to $511,000,000

The lottery official announced that the Friday, June 26th, 2026, Mega Millions drawing resulted in a rollover, generating an $511,000,000 jackpot for the next drawing Tuesday. The cash option stands at a projected $$231 million. The winning numbers from Friday, June 26th, 2026 drawing were 05, 13, 30, 33, 52 with Mega Ball number 06 and Megaplier x.
Although the jackpot was not hit Friday evening, Mega Millions had some huge winners. A total of 7 lucky tickets won the 3rd prize. These included 7 tickets that matched 4 white numbers plus the Mega Ball and won $10,000.
Additional winners Friday evening included 200 tickets that matched 4 white ball numbers and won $500. Other prizes won included 540 tickets that matched 3 white numbers in addition to the Mega Ball and won $200.
With nine different prize levels, there were a total of 625,860 winning tickets sold across the nation in the Friday, June 26th, 2026 drawing.
Mega Millions lottery can be played in 43 states and Washington DC. Roughly 50% of the Mega Millions sales goes back towards the players in prizes. Roughly 15% goes to commission of retailers and lottery operation expenses. Roughly 35% total sales is used in government services, education and charities in the member states. Each play costs $1. In some states, players can choose to pay $1 extra to buy the Megaplier, which multiplies the winnings 2 to 5 times but not grand prize. The minimum Mega Millions advertised jackpot is $40,000,000. The annuity option is paid in 30 equal yearly payments. Winners can select one-time lump-sum cash payout option instead.
