There were no tickets sold matched all 6 numbers in the last multi-state Mega Millions lottery draw, and the estimated jackpot for Friday's drawing will grow to $489,000,000, according to lottery officials. The cash option stands at a projected $$220.9 million. The winning numbers from Tuesday, June 23rd, 2026 drawing were 48-51-60-63-66 and the Mega Ball was 20, Megaplier was . The Mega Millions jackpot has been rolling over for 130 draws since Friday, March 28th, 2025.The last jackpot was won by a single ticket sold in IL, matched all six numbers for a $344 million top prize.
While the grand prize was not hit Tuesday evening, some players still walked away with large winnings. A total of 5 lucky tickets won the 3rd prize. These included 5 tickets that matched 4 white ball numbers plus the Mega Ball and won $10,000.
Also, 152 tickets matched 4 of the 5 lotto numbers. Those tickets are each worth $500. 423 tickets matched 3 of the 5 lotto numbers, as well as the Mega Ball number. These tickets are also each worth $200.
With nine prize tiers, there were 574,024 winning tickets sold nationwide in the Tuesday, June 23rd, 2026 drawing.
Mega Millions is an U.S. popular lottery game sold in 44 participating states as a pari-mutuel jackpot game. To play, select 5 numbers from 1 to 70 then pick a Mega Ball number from 1 to 25. Each play costs $1. In some states, players can choose to pay 1 extra dollar to purchase the Megaplier option, which multiplies the original winnings 2 to 5 times except grand prize. The minimum Mega Millions advertised jackpot is $40,000,000. Its annuity option is paid in 30 equal yearly payments. Winners can choose one-time lump sum cash payout instead.
