The jackpot for Friday's Mega Millions drawing skyrockets to $604,000,000

The grand prize in the Mega Millions multi-state lottery game has been rolled up to $604,000,000. The cash option will be $$266.3 million up for grab. The prize amount was rolled over since no player matched all 6 winning numbers in Tuesday's $576,000,000 drawing. The next Mega Millions drawing is Friday night. The numbers from Tuesday, July 7th, 2026 drawing were 02, 31, 35, 36, 63 with Mega Ball number 12 and Megaplier X. The Mega Millions jackpot has been growing for 134 draws since Friday, March 28th, 2025.A single lucky winner from IL walked away with $344 million jackpot in Tuesday, March 25th, 2025 drawing.
Even though the grand prize was not awarded Tuesday evening, some people still walked away with huge prizes. There were a total of 6 3rd prize winners. These included 6 tickets that matched 4 white numbers in addition to the Mega Ball and won $10,000.
Also, 172 tickets matched 4 of the 5 lotto numbers. Those tickets are each worth $500. 549 tickets matched 3 of the 5 lotto numbers, plus the Mega Ball number. These tickets are also each worth $200.
With 9 prize levels, there were a total of 736,134 winning tickets sold across the nation in the Tuesday, July 7th, 2026 drawing.
Mega Millions is a consortium associated with 44 state lotteries. Approximately 50% of the Mega Millions sales goes back for the players in prizes. Approximately 15% goes to commission of retailers and lottery operating costs. Approximately 35% total sales is used to support government services, education and charities in the participating states. Mega Millions drawings occur every Tuesday and Friday at 10:59 PM Eastern Time. The minimum Mega Millions grand prize starts at $40 million. The annuity option is paid in 30 equal yearly payments. Winners may select one lump-sum cash payout option instead.
