Mega Millions jackpot climbs to $345 million Tuesday, May 4th, 2021; Two second prize tickets sold

The multi-state Mega Millions game jackpot has built to an estimated $345 million dollars after there was no jackpot winner in Friday's drawing. The cash option will be $234.6 million. The numbers drawn Friday night, April 30th, 2021 were 08-19-26-48-49 and the Mega Ball was 05, Megaplier was 3. There was no jackpot winning ticket sold in the past 786 draws since Friday, October 4th, 2013.One lucky player from Maryland won the $189 million top prize in Tuesday, October 1st, 2013 drawing.
Even though there was no grand prize winner Friday evening, Mega Millions had some huge winners. There were two lucky players that correctly matched all 5 white ball numbers and won the 2nd prize. The two second prize winning ticket(s) sold in won $1,000,000 cash each.
Additional prizes won Friday night included 25 tickets that matched 4 white ball numbers as well as the Mega Ball and won $10,000. In addition, 618 tickets matched 4 of the 5 lotto numbers. Those tickets are each worth $500. 1629 tickets matched 3 of the 5 lotto numbers, as well as the Mega Ball number. These tickets are also each worth $200.
There were 183,416 Mega Millions winning tickets sold in the state of New York. There were 91708 top prize winning tickets sold in the state of New York.
With nine ways to win, there were 2,191,214 winning tickets sold across the nation in the Friday, April 30th, 2021 drawing.
Mega Millions is a consortium involving 44 state lotteries. To play Mega Millions, pick 5 numbers from 1 to 70 then choose 1 Mega Ball number from a set of 25. The minimum Mega Millions advertised jackpot starts at 40 million dollar. The annuity option is paid in 30 equal yearly installments. Winners may select one time lump sum cash payout option instead.
