Nobody matched all 6 numbers. Powerball jackpot leaps to $89,000,000 Saturday night

The Powerball lottery grand prize has jumped up to $89,000,000 (cash option $$39.6 million) for the next drawing in the multistate lottery game Saturday night. The jackpot amount has been rolled over because no one hit all five white ball numbers and the Powerball number to take the $69,000,000 jackpot Wednesday night. The numbers from Wednesday, January 29th, 2025 drawing were 08-12-31-33-38 and Powerball was 18.
While the grand prize was not hit Wednesday evening, some people still walked away with large winnings. There were a total of 8 third prize winners. There were 2 tickets matched 4+1 with Power Play option, multiplying the winnings by 4 for a total win of $40,000 each!
Also, 185 tickets matched 4 of the 5 lotto numbers. Those tickets are each worth $100. There were 90 tickets matched 4 white ball with Power Play option, doubled the prizes to a total win of $200 each! There were 484 tickets that correctly matched 3 white ball numbers plus the Powerball and also won $100. 174 additional players not only matched 3+1, but in addition chose the Power Play option, doulbled the winnings to $200 cash each ticket.
