Saturday's Powerball jackpot moves to $1,700,000,000; Fifteen players won the second prize

Saturday's Powerball lottery grand prize is going to be worth a projected $1,700,000,000 (cash option $$770.3 million), because no one matched all 6 winning numbers in Wednesday night's drawing. The numbers from Wednesday, September 3rd, 2025 drawing were 03-16-29-61-69 and Powerball was 22.
Although the grand prize was not hit Wednesday evening, Powerball had some huge winners. There were fifteen lucky tickets matched the first 5 white ball numbers but missed Powerball number, which won the second prize. The four ticket(s) in MI(1), OR(1), TX(1) and WY(1) matched the first 5 white ball numbers with the Power Play for an incredible $2,000,000 cash win! This is part of the Powerball lottery feature that guarantees a certain multiplier on all match 5 white ball winners that also have the Power Play option pushing the prize to $2,000,000 cash.
