The Mega Millions lottery jackpot has jumped up to a projected $129,000,000 (cash option $$62.3 million) for the next drawing in the multistate lottery game Tuesday night. The grand prize amount has been rolled over because no player hit all 5 lotto numbers and the Mega Ball number to take the $108,000,000 jackpot Friday night. The winning numbers from Friday, October 4th, 2024 drawing were 21-39-42-43-45 with Mega Ball number 03 and Megaplier X2. The Mega Millions jackpot has been growing for seven draws since Friday, September 13th, 2024.One lucky player from TX won the $800 million top prize in Tuesday, September 10th, 2024 drawing.
While the grand prize was not awarded Friday evening, some players still walked away with huge prizes. 10 third prize winning tickets were sold nationwide. These included 10 tickets that matched 4 white numbers together with Mega Ball and won $10,000.
Additional prizes won Friday evening included 185 tickets that matched four white ball numbers and won $500. There were 638 tickets that matched 3 white ball numbers plus the Mega Ball and also won $200.
