The Mega Millions grand prize is on the move again. The jackpot for the Tuesday, October 7th, 2025 drawing goes to $547,000,000 with the lump-sum cash payout at $$251.7 million. The numbers from Friday, October 3rd, 2025 drawing were 18, 19, 38, 54, 57 with Mega Ball number 19 and Megaplier X. No one won the Mega Millions jackpot in the past 55 draws since Friday, March 28th, 2025.A single lucky winner from IL won the $344 million top prize in Tuesday, March 25th, 2025 drawing.
Though there was no jackpot winner Friday evening, some players still walked away with huge pile of cash. A total of 10 lucky players won the third prize. These included 10 tickets that matched 4 white ball numbers as well as the Mega Ball and won $10,000.
In addition, 200 tickets matched four of the five lotto numbers. Those tickets are each worth $500. Other prizes won included 546 tickets that matched 3 white numbers as well as the Mega Ball and won $200.
With 9 prize levels, there were a total of 693,960 winning tickets sold across the nation in the Friday, October 3rd, 2025 drawing.
Mega Millions is a consortium involving 44 state lotteries. It holds the record biggest jackpot of $656 million in U.S. lottery history. Mega Millions lottery uses a 5/70+1/25 system from which winning numbers are chosen. Each play costs $1. In some states, players can choose to pay $1 extra to purchase the Megaplier option, which multiplies the original winnings 2 to 5 times but not jackpot. The odds of winning is about 1 to 14. The odds of matching all six Mega Millions numbers are 1 to 302,575,350. The minimum Mega Millions jackpot starts at 40 million dollar. Its annuity option is paid in 30 equal annual installments. Winners may choose one lump-sum cash payout instead.
