Friday's Mega Millions jackpot builds to $108,000,000; One ticket won the second prize

The lottery official announced that the Tuesday, October 1st, 2024, Mega Millions drawing resulted in a roll-over, producing an $108,000,000 grand prize for the next drawing Friday. The lump-sum cash payout will be $$53.8 million. The winning numbers from Tuesday, October 1st, 2024 drawing were 27, 35, 47, 50, 66 and the Mega Ball was 25, Megaplier was 2. There was no jackpot winning ticket sold in the past six draws since Friday, September 13th, 2024.One lucky player from TX walked away with $800 million top prize in Tuesday, September 10th, 2024 drawing.

Even though the grand prize was not hit Tuesday evening, some players still walked away with huge pile of cash. There was a single lucky winner matched the first five numbers but missed Mega Ball number, which won the second prize. The one second prize winning ticket(s) sold in NY won a quarter million dollar cash each.

Also, 3 tickets matched four of the five lotto numbers, plus the Mega Ball number. Those tickets are each worth $10,000. Additional winners Tuesday evening included 181 tickets that matched 4 white ball numbers and won $500. 501 tickets matched 3 of the 5 lotto numbers, as well as the Mega Ball number. These tickets are also each worth $200.

There were 79,898 Mega Millions winning tickets sold in the state of New York. There were 39949 jackpot winning tickets sold in the state of New York. There was one lucky New York winner matched 4 lotto numbers in addition to the Mega Ball and won $1,000,000.

With nine different prize levels, there were a total of 836,000 winning tickets sold across the nation in the Tuesday, October 1st, 2024 drawing.

Mega Millions game can be played in 43 states and Washington DC. Each play costs $1.
