No jackpot ticket sold last night. Mega Millions jackpot leaps to $55 million Friday, March 5th, 2021

No player won Tuesday night's Mega Millions lottery drawing, worth $43 million, bringing the projected jackpot on Friday to $55 million. The cash option stands at a projected $38.1 million up for grab. The winning numbers drawn Tuesday night, March 2nd, 2021 were 04-08-13-34-64 with Mega Ball 18 and Megaplier x2. There was no jackpot winning ticket sold in the past 769 draws since Friday, October 4th, 2013.The last jackpot was won by one lucky ticket sold in Maryland, matched all six numbers for a $189 million top prize.
Even though there was no grand prize winner Tuesday evening, Mega Millions had some huge winners. There were a total of 13 3rd prize winning tickets. These included 13 tickets that matched 4 white numbers in addition to the Mega Ball and won $10,000.
Also, 255 tickets matched 4 of the 5 lotto numbers. Those tickets are each worth $500. 700 tickets matched 3 of the 5 lotto numbers, as well as the Mega Ball number. These tickets are also each worth $200.
There were 73,706 Mega Millions winning tickets sold in the state of New York. There were 36853 top prize winning tickets sold in the state of New York.
With nine different prize tiers, there were 991,704 winning tickets sold across U.S. in the Tuesday, March 2nd, 2021 drawing.
