The jackpot for Tuesday's Mega Millions drawing skyrockets to $285,000,000

There has been another roll-over in the grand prize for the multistate Mega Millions - to $285,000,000. The lump-sum cash payout stands at $$128.6 million. The grand prize grew since no player hit all six winning numbers from Friday night's $266,000,000 drawing. The numbers from Friday night, January 23rd, 2026 were 30, 42, 49, 53, 66 and the Mega Ball was 04, Megaplier was .
Although there was no jackpot winner Friday evening, some people still walked away with big money. There were two lucky winners matched the first 5 white ball numbers but missed Mega Ball number, which won the 2nd prize. The two second prize winning ticket(s) purchased in won a quarter million dollar cash each.
Other prizes won Friday night included 8 tickets that matched 4 white numbers in addition to the Mega Ball and won $10,000. Also, 100 tickets matched 4 of the 5 lotto numbers. Those tickets are each worth $500. Other prizes won included 387 tickets that matched 3 white numbers in addition to the Mega Ball and won $200.

Mega Millions is a consortium associated with 44 state lotteries. It holds the record biggest jackpot of $656 million in United States lottery history. The minimum Mega Millions advertised jackpot starts at 40 million dollar. Its annuity option is paid in 30 equal yearly installments. Winners can select one time lump-sum cash payout instead.
