The lottery official announced that the Friday, February 20th, 2026, Mega Millions drawing resulted in a rollover, producing an $438,000,000 grand prize for the next drawing Tuesday. The lump-sum cash payout stands at an estimated $$203.1 million. The winning numbers from Friday night, February 20th, 2026 were 15, 40, 48, 58, 63 and the Mega Ball was 02, Megaplier was . There was no jackpot winning ticket sold in the past 95 draws since Friday, March 28th, 2025.A single lucky winner from IL walked away with $344 million top prize in Tuesday, March 25th, 2025 drawing.
While the grand prize was not awarded Friday evening, Mega Millions had some big winners. 9 3rd prize winning tickets were sold nationwide. These included 9 tickets that matched 4 white ball numbers plus the Mega Ball and won $10,000.
Additional prizes won Friday night included 149 tickets that matched 4 lotto numbers and won $500. There were 409 tickets that matched three white ball numbers plus the Mega Ball and also won $200.
With 9 ways to win, there were a total of 572,304 winning tickets sold nationwide in the Friday, February 20th, 2026 drawing.
Mega Millions game can be played in 43 states and D.C. It holds the record biggest jackpot of $656 million in United States lottery history. Roughly 50% of the Mega Millions sales goes back on the players in prizes. About 15% goes to retailer commissions and lottery operation expenses.
