Mega Millions jackpot breaks to $54 million; One second prize ticket sold

There were no tickets sold hit all five lotto numbers plus the Mega Ball number in the last multi-state Mega Millions game draw, and the estimated jackpot for Friday's drawing will go to $54 million, lottery officials announced. The cash option will be an estimated $39.7 million. The numbers from Tuesday, February 2nd, 2021 drawing were 13-37-38-40-67 with Mega Ball 10 and Megaplier X2. The Mega Millions jackpot has been growing for 761 draws since Friday, October 4th, 2013.A single lucky winner from Maryland walked away with $189 million jackpot in Tuesday, October 1st, 2013 drawing.

Though there was no grand prize winner Tuesday evening, some players still walked away with huge prizes. There was a sole 2nd prize winner from Tuesday night's Mega Millions drawing, matching all five lotto numbers except the Mega Ball number. The one lucky ticket(s) purchased in , each won one quarter million dollar cash by matching all 5 white ball numbers.

Additional prizes won Tuesday night included 15 tickets that matched 4 white numbers in addition to the Mega Ball and won $10,000. Mega Millions is played in 43 states and Washington DC. Mega Millions game uses a 5/70+1/25 matrix from which winning numbers are chosen. Each play costs $1.
