The Mega Millions multi-state lottery jackpot moved to $150,000,000 (cash value $$67.9 million) Tuesday night when there were no jackpot winners in the $140,000,000 drawing, lottery officials said. The winning numbers from Friday, August 1st, 2025 drawing were 18, 27, 29, 33, 70 and the Mega Ball was 22, Megaplier was . Nobody won the Mega Millions grand prize in the past 37 draws since Friday, March 28th, 2025.One lucky winner from IL won the $344 million jackpot in Tuesday, March 25th, 2025 drawing.
While there was no jackpot winner Friday evening, Mega Millions had some huge winners. There were a total of 3 3rd prize lucky winning tickets. These included 3 tickets that matched 4 white numbers as well as the Mega Ball and won $10,000.
Other winners Friday night included 136 tickets that matched four white ball numbers and won $500. Other prizes won included 351 tickets that matched 3 white numbers in addition to the Mega Ball and won $200.
With nine different prize tiers, there were 404,832 winning tickets sold across the nation in the Friday, August 1st, 2025 drawing.
Mega Millions is played in 43 states and Washington DC. It holds the record highest jackpot of $656 million in North American lottery history. Each play costs $1. In some states, players can choose to spend $1 extra to purchase the Megaplier option, which multiplies the prizes 2 to 5 times but not jackpot. The odds of winning is about 1 to 14. The odds of matching 6 Mega Millions numbers are 1 to 302,575,350. The minimum Mega Millions jackpot is $40 million. Its annuity option is paid in 30 equal annual payments. Winners may choose one time lump-sum cash payout instead.
