The lottery official announced that the Friday, April 24th, 2026, Mega Millions drawing resulted in a roll-over, generating an $163,000,000 grand prize for the next drawing Tuesday. The lump-sum cash payout stands at an estimated $$72.9 million up for grab. The winning numbers from Friday, April 24th, 2026 drawing were 07, 16, 32, 35, 40 and the Mega Ball was 12, Megaplier was .
While the grand prize was not hit Friday evening, Mega Millions had some huge winners. A total of 8 lucky tickets won the third prize. Among them, 8 tickets matched four of the five lotto numbers, as well as the Mega Ball number. Those tickets are each worth $10,000.
Additional winners Friday evening included 130 tickets that matched four white ball numbers and won $500. There were 330 tickets that matched three white ball numbers as well as the Mega Ball and also won $200.
With 9 prize levels, there were 427,366 winning tickets sold nationwide in the Friday, April 24th, 2026 drawing.
Mega Millions is a consortium involving 44 state lotteries. It holds the record largest jackpot in United States lottery history. Mega Millions drawings are held every Tuesday and Friday night at 10:59 p.m. Eastern Time. Mega Millions uses a 5/70 (white balls) + 1/25 (Mega Balls) system to randomly pick winning numbers. Each play costs $1. In some states, players can choose to spend 1 extra dollar to purchase the Megaplier, which multiplies the original winnings 2 to 5 times but not grand prize. The overall chances of winning is about 1 to 14. The odds of winning Mega Millions jackpot are about 1 in 302 million. The minimum Mega Millions grand prize is $40 million. Its annuity option is paid in 30 equal annual installments. Winners can select one-time lump-sum cash payout instead.
