Friday's Mega Millions jackpot breaks to $130,000,000; 1 player won the second prize

The grand prize in the multi-state Mega Millions lottery drawing grew to $130,000,000 for the Friday drawing. The cash option will be a projected $$58 million. None of the tickets sold for Tuesday's $120,000,000 drawing matched 5 lotto numbers and the Mega Ball number. The winning numbers drawn Tuesday night, April 14th, 2026 were 17, 21, 24, 57, 69 and the Mega Ball was 12, Megaplier was .
Although the grand prize was not hit Tuesday evening, some people still walked away with big money. There was a sole second prize winner from Tuesday night's Mega Millions drawing, matching all 5 white ball numbers except the Mega Ball number. The 1 second prize winning ticket(s) sold in won a quarter million dollar cash each.
Additional major winners Tuesday night included 6 tickets that matched four white ball numbers plus the Mega Ball and won $10,000. Additional prizes won Tuesday night included 106 tickets that matched four lotto numbers and won $500. There were 304 tickets that matched three white ball numbers as well as the Mega Ball and also won $200.

The annuity option is paid in 30 equal annual installments. Winners can select one time lump-sum cash payout instead.
