Mega Millions jackpot rolls up to $96,000,000; 1 second prize ticket sold

Tuesday's Mega Millions lottery jackpot rolled up to $96,000,000, since no player matched all 6 winning numbers drawn Friday night. The lump-sum cash payout for Tuesday will be an estimated $$42.2 million. Friday's $72,000,000 is the total grand prize amount - before taxes - if the prize is taken in annuity. The numbers from Friday, April 11th, 2025 drawing were 15, 37, 38, 56, 58 with Mega Ball 19 and Megaplier .

Even though the grand prize was not awarded Friday evening, some players still walked away with huge pile of cash. There was a sole ticket that correctly matched the first five numbers and won the second prize. The 1 second prize winning ticket(s) purchased in will collect $1,000,000 cash each.

Additional prizes won Friday evening included 0 tickets that matched 4 white numbers as well as the Mega Ball and won $10,000. Other prizes won Friday evening included 125 tickets that matched four lotto numbers and won $500. 313 tickets matched three of the five lotto numbers, plus the Mega Ball number. These tickets are also each worth $200.

With nine prize tiers, there were 431,634 winning tickets sold nationwide in the Friday, April 11th, 2025 drawing.

Mega Millions can be played in 43 states and Washington DC. It holds the record biggest jackpot of $656 million in U.S. lottery history. Mega Millions drawings are held every Tuesday and Friday night at 10:59 p.m. Eastern Time. Mega Millions lottery uses a 5/70+1/25 matrix to randomly pick winning numbers. Each play costs $1. In some states, players can choose to pay 1 extra dollar to purchase the Megaplier, which multiplies the original prizes 2 to 5 times except jackpot. The odds of winning is about 1 to 14. The odds of winning Mega Millions grand prize are about 1 in 302 million. The minimum Mega Millions advertised jackpot is 40 million dollar. The annuity option is paid in 30 equal yearly installments. Winners can choose one-time lump sum cash payout option instead.
