No jackpot ticket sold. Saturday's Powerball jackpot increases to $243,000,000

No one won Wednesday night's Powerball lottery drawing, worth $223,000,000, bringing the projected jackpot on Saturday to $243,000,000. The cash value will be a projected $$122.2 million up for grab. The winning numbers from Wednesday, September 25th, 2024 drawing were 02, 26, 45, 46, 52 and Powerball number was 21. Nobody won the Powerball grand prize in the past 16 draws since Wednesday, August 21st, 2024. The last jackpot was won by one lucky ticket sold in CA, matched all six numbers for a 44,000,000 top prize.
Though the jackpot was not awarded Wednesday evening, some players still walked away with huge pile of cash. 15 third prize winning tickets were sold nationwide. These included 14 tickets that matched 4 white ball numbers plus the Powerball and won $10,000.
Also, 207 tickets matched 4 of the 5 lotto numbers. Those tickets are each worth $100. There were 74 tickets matched 4 white ball with Power Play option, doubled the winnings to a total win of $200 each! There were 596 tickets that correctly matched 3 white ball numbers plus the Powerball and also won $100. 197 additional players not only matched 3+1, but additionally purchased the Power Play option, doulbled the winnings to $200 cash each ticket.
There were 37,626 Powewrball winning tickets sold in the state of New York. There were three lucky New York winners matched 4 lotto numbers in addition to the Powerball and won $10,000. 70 tickets were sold in the state of New York which matched either 4 or 3+1 numbers. The lucky ticket holders will receive $100 each. There were 7 lucky New York players won $200 prize by matching 4 or 3+1 numbers with Power Play purchased.
With 9 different ways to win, the Wednesday night's drawing created 489,827 winning tickets nationwide with a total amount of $0 prizes.
