Saturday's Powerball jackpot moves to $1,700,000,000; Fifteen second prize tickets sold

The jackpot in America's favorite Powerball lottery is on the move. Since no player correctly matched all five lotto numbers and the Powerball number in Wednesday's drawing, the grand prize will climb to $1,700,000,000! The cash value stands at $$770.3 million up for grab. The winning numbers drawn Wednesday night, September 3rd, 2025 were 03-16-29-61-69 and Powerball number was 22.
Even though there was no jackpot winner Wednesday evening, Powerball did produce some big winners. There were fifteen tickets that correctly matched all 5 lotto numbers and won the second prize. The four ticket(s) in MI(1), OR(1), TX(1) and WY(1) matched the first five numbers with the Power Play for an incredible $2 million cash win! This is part of the Powerball game feature that guarantees a certain multiplier on all match 5 white ball winners that also have the Power Play option doubling the second prize to $2,000,000 cash. Eleven other lucky ticket(s) sold in CA(2), CO(1), FL(1), GA(2), IL(1), MD(1), MN(1), OH(1) and PA(1), each won $1,000,000 cash by matching all 5 white ball numbers!

America's favorite Powerball lottery is played in 42 states, D.C. and the US Virgin Islands. To play Powerball, select 5 numbers from 1 to 69 and choose one Powerball number from a set of 26. Each play costs $2. Players can choose to spend $1 extra to purchase the Power Play, which multiplies the winnings but not grand prize. The minimum Powerball advertised grand prize is $40 million.
