Nobody won the jackpot last night. Wednesday's Powerball jackpot goes to $39,000,000

The Powerball jackpot has jumped up to an estimated $39,000,000 (cash option $$18.6 million) for the next drawing in the multistate lottery game Wednesday night. The jackpot amount has been rolled over since no player matched all 6 winning numbers to take the $28,000,000 jackpot Monday night. The winning numbers from Monday, October 28th, 2024 drawing were 21-27-32-48-67 with Power Ball number 17.
Even though there was no jackpot winner Monday evening, Powerball did produce some big winners. 6 third prize winning tickets were sold across the U.S.. These included 4 tickets that matched four white ball numbers as well as the Powerball and won $10,000.
Additional winners Monday night included 105 tickets that matched four white ball numbers and won $100. 39 additional players not only matched 4 white ball, but in addition bought the Power Play option, double the winnings to a total win of $200 each! Other prizes won Monday evening included 271 tickets that matched 3 white numbers plus the Powerball and won $100. 122 additional tickets of this prize level were also bought with the Power Play option that doubled winnings to $200 cash.
There were 20,044 Powewrball winning tickets sold in the state of New York. There was one lucky New Yorker matched 4 white ball numbers as well as the Powerball and won $10,000. A single ticket sold in New York matched 4 lotto numbers in addition to the Powerball with Power Play option purchased. The lucky ticket holder will collect $40,000. There were 32 lucky New Yorkers won $100 prize by matching 4 or 3+1 numbers. There were 9 lucky New York winners won $200 prize by matching 4 or 3+1 numbers with Power Play purchased.
With nine different prize levels, the Monday night's drawing generated 247,868 winning tickets across the nation with a total amount of $0 prizes.
Powerball is an American popular lottery game sold in 44 participating states as a shared jackpot game. Powerball drawings occur every Wednesday and Saturday at 10:59 p.m. Eastern Time.
