The jackpot for Wednesday's Powerball drawing soars to $438,000,000

The Powerball grand prize increased because nobody hit all 5 lotto numbers and the Powerball number from Monday night's $419,000,000 drawing. The next jackpot went to $438,000,000 for Wednesday night's drawing. The cash option will be an estimated $$207 million up for grab. The numbers from Monday, November 3rd, 2025 drawing were 03-32-40-43-57 with Power Ball 18.
Even though the jackpot was not hit Monday evening, Powerball had some big winners. There were a total of 12 3rd prize winners. 5 additional tickets at this prize level were also wisely bought with the Power Play option that multiplied the prize 4 times to $40,000 cash!
In addition, 178 tickets matched four of the five lotto numbers. Those tickets are each worth $100. There were 55 tickets matched 4 white ball with Power Play option, doubled the prizes to a total win of $200 each! There were 532 tickets that matched 3 white ball numbers as well as the Powerball and also won $100. 171 additional players not just matched 3+1, but in addition purchased the Power Play option, doulbled the prizes to $200 cash each ticket.
There were 37,065 Powewrball winning tickets sold in the state of New York. There were two lucky New Yorkers matched 4 lotto numbers as well as the Powerball and won $10,000. 63 tickets were sold in the state of New York which matched either 4 or 3+1 numbers. The lucky ticket holders will receive $100 each. 12 tickets were sold in the state of New York which matched either 4 or 3+1 numbers with Power Play. The lucky ticket holders will receive $200 each.
With nine ways to win, the Monday night's drawing created 460,895 winning tickets across U.S. with a total amount of $0 prizes.
Powerball can be played in 42 states, D.C. and the US Virgin Islands. Powerball drawings are held 2 times a week every Wednesday and Saturday at 10:59 p.m. Eastern Time. Powerball lottery uses a 5/69 (white balls) + 1/26 (Powerballs) matrix to randomly choose winning numbers. Each play costs $2. Players can choose to pay $1 extra to purchase the Power Play, which increases the winnings but not grand prize. The overall odds of winning any prizes is about 1 to 32. The odds of winning Powerball grand prize are 1 to 292,201,338. The minimum Powerball jackpot is $40,000,000. The annuity option is paid in 30 yearly increment payments in 29 years. Winners can select one time lump sum cash payout option instead.
