Monday's Powerball jackpot climbs to $88,000,000; Two players won the second prize

Nobody won Saturday night's Powerball lottery drawing, worth $75,000,000, bringing the projected jackpot on Monday to $88,000,000. The cash value will be $$40 million up for grab. The numbers from Saturday, March 14th, 2026 drawing were 09, 30, 42, 50, 52 and Powerball was 21.
While there was no jackpot winner Saturday evening, some people still walked away with big money. There were two lucky players that correctly matched the first five numbers and won the 2nd prize. The 2 lucky ticket(s) purchased in NE(1) and TX(1), each won 1 million dollar cash by matching all 5 white ball numbers.
Also, 8 tickets matched 4 of the 5 lotto numbers, as well as the Powerball number. Those tickets are each worth $10,000. 1 additional players not only matched 4+1, but in addition purchased the Power Play option, multiplying the prizes by 4 for a total win of $40,000 each! Also, 221 tickets matched 4 of the 5 lotto numbers. Those tickets are each worth $100. There were 66 tickets matched 4 white ball with Power Play option, doubled the winnings to a total win of $200 each! 538 tickets matched 3 of the 5 lotto numbers, plus the Powerball number. There were 33,565 Powewrball winning tickets sold in the state of New York. There were two lucky New Yorkers matched 4 white ball numbers in addition to the Powerball and won $10,000. A ticket sold in New York matched 4 white ball numbers as well as the Powerball with Power Play option purchased. The lucky ticket holder will receive $40,000. 77 tickets were sold in the state of New York which matched either 4 or 3+1 numbers. The lucky ticket holders will collect $100 each.
