A single player in AR walked away with $249,000,000 Powerball jackpot in Monday night's drawing

One ticket purchased in AR matched all six numbers in Monday night's Powerball lottery drawing, worth approximately $249,000,000, lottery officials said. The winning numbers drawn Monday night, March 2nd, 2026 were 02-17-18-38-62 and Powerball was 20. The winning ticket holder will have the option of annuity payments for the entire prize amount of $249,000,000, or the cash option in the amount of $117.2 million before taxes. The winning ticket holder is encouraged to sign the ticket, put it in a secure place and get in touch with lottery officials as soon as possible. Jackpot winner has the opportunity to select the cash value of the jackpot while claimng the prizes. If the winner doesn't make choice, the payment option will revert to annuity by default.
Besides the jackpot hit on Monday, more people walked away with large winnings. There was a single lucky ticket correctly matched the first 5 numbers but missed Powerball number, which won the 2nd prize. The one ticket(s) in PR matched the first 5 white ball numbers with the Power Play for an incredible 2 million dollar cash win!
In addition, 3 tickets matched 4 of the 5 lotto numbers, as well as the Powerball number. Those tickets are each worth $10,000. 2 additional tickets of this prize level were also wisely bought with the Power Play option that multiplied the prize 4 times to $40,000 cash!
