Wednesday's Powerball jackpot increases to $69,000,000; Two second prize tickets sold

Wall Street is not the only place where fortunes are made and lost these days. One fortune is going to be up for grabs on Wednesday, when Powerball game has $69,000,000 on the line. The lump-sum cash payout stands at $$30.7 million. Powerball's grand prize rose since no one hit all six winning numbers drawn Monday night. The numbers drawn Monday night, January 27th, 2025 were 02, 40, 47, 53, 55 with Power Ball 20.
Though there was no jackpot winner Monday evening, Powerball did produce some big winners. There were two lucky players that correctly matched all five white ball numbers and won the 2nd prize. The 2 second prize ticket(s) from AZ(1) and PR(1) matched all 5 white ball numbers and also purchased Power Play, which doubled the prize to 2 million dollar cash win!
Other prizes won Monday evening included 2 tickets that matched four white ball numbers as well as the Powerball and won $10,000. 5 additional players not only matched 4+1, but additionally bought the Power Play option, multiplying the winnings by 4 for a total win of $40,000 each!
With nine different prize tiers, there were 263,018 tickets across the nation won a total of $0 prizes in the Monday, January 27th, 2025 drawing.
