Wednesday's Powerball jackpot rolls up to $209,000,000; 1 second prize ticket sold

The grand prize in America's favorite Powerball lottery is on the move. Because no player correctly matched all 5 white ball numbers and the Powerball number in Monday's drawing, the grand prize will increase to $209,000,000! The lump-sum cash payout will be $$95.2 million up for grab. The numbers drawn Monday night, January 19th, 2026 were 05-28-34-37-55 and Powerball number was 17. No one won the Powerball jackpot in the past eleven draws since Saturday, December 27th, 2025. The last jackpot was won by a lucky ticket sold in AR, matched all six numbers for a 1,700,000,000 top prize.
While there was no grand prize winner Monday evening, Powerball had some big winners. There was a sole lucky player that correctly matched the first 5 white ball numbers and won the second prize. The one second prize winning ticket(s) sold in NJ will collect $1,000,000 cash.
Additional major winners Monday night included 12 tickets that matched four white ball numbers plus the Powerball and won $10,000. There were 2 tickets matched 4+1 with Power Play option, multiplying the winnings by 4 for a total win of $40,000 each! In addition, 204 tickets matched 4 of the 5 lotto numbers.
