Powerball jackpot rises to $64,000,000; One second prize ticket sold

The estimated jackpot for Wednesday night's drawing was $45,000,000. According to Powerball, no one hit every number and the jackpot rolled up to a projected $64,000,000. The cash value stands at a projected $$29.5 million. The numbers from Wednesday night, December 31st, 2025 were 11, 18, 21, 24, 38 and Powerball was 26.
While the jackpot was not hit Wednesday evening, Powerball did produce some big winners. There was only one lucky ticket correctly matched the first 5 white ball numbers but missed Powerball number, which won the 2nd prize. The one lucky ticket(s) purchased in MS, each won 1 million dollar cash by matching all 5 white ball numbers.
Other major winners Wednesday evening included 13 tickets that matched four white ball numbers plus the Powerball and won $10,000. 5 additional tickets of this prize level were also wisely bought with the Power Play option that multiplied the prize 4 times to $40,000 cash! In addition, 400 tickets matched four of the five lotto numbers. Those tickets are each worth $100. There were 147 tickets matched 4 white ball with Power Play option, doubled the winnings to a total win of $200 each! There were 812 tickets that matched 3 white ball numbers as well as the Powerball and also won $100. 287 additional players not only matched 3+1, but additionally bought the Power Play option, doulbled the prizes to $200 cash each ticket.
