Powerball jackpot moves to $477,000,000; 1 second prize ticket sold

The grand prize in the Powerball multi-state lottery game has been increased to $477,000,000. The cash value stands at $$229.7 million. The prize amount was rolled over because no player hit all 6 winning numbers in Saturday's $468,000,000 drawing. The next Powerball drawing is Monday night. The winning numbers from Saturday, December 9th, 2023 drawing were 05, 25, 26, 40, 60 and Powerball was 01.
Though there was no jackpot winner Saturday evening, Powerball had some big winners. There was only one lucky player that matched all five white ball numbers and won the second prize. The one lucky ticket(s) purchased in New York, each won 1 million dollar cash by matching all 5 white ball numbers.
In addition, 15 tickets matched four of the five lotto numbers, plus the Powerball number. Those tickets are each worth $10,000. There were 1 tickets matched 4+1 with Power Play option, multiplying the prizes by 4 for a total win of $40,000 each!
