The jackpot for Monday's Powerball drawing skyrockets to $875,000,000

The jackpot in the multi-state Powerball drawing leaped to $875,000,000 for the Monday drawing. The lump-sum cash payout will be $$403.6 million up for grab. None of the tickets sold for Saturday's $820,000,000 drawing hit 6 numbers. The winning numbers drawn Saturday night, December 6th, 2025 were 13, 14, 26, 28, 44 and Powerball was 07. There was no jackpot winning ticket sold in the past 39 draws since Monday, September 8th, 2025. 2 lucky players from MO and TX won the jackpot in Saturday, September 6th, 2025 drawing and shared 1,800,000,000.
Even though the grand prize was not hit Saturday evening, Powerball did produce some big winners. There were four lucky players that matched all five numbers and won the 2nd prize. The three second prize winning ticket(s) sold in FL(1), GA(1) and TX(1) won 1 million dollar cash. The other one second prize winner(s) from NJ also bought Power Play, which doubled the prize to $2,000,000 cash win!
In addition, 28 tickets matched 4 of the 5 lotto numbers, as well as the Powerball number. Those tickets are each worth $10,000. 12 additional players not just matched 4+1, but additionally chose the Power Play option, multiplying the winnings by 4 for a total win of $40,000 each!
There were 119,137 Powewrball winning tickets sold in the state of New York. There was a lucky New York winner matched 4 white ball numbers plus the Powerball and won $10,000. A single ticket sold in New York matched 4 white ball numbers in addition to the Powerball with Power Play option purchased. The lucky ticket holder will receive $40,000. There were 255 lucky New York players won $100 prize by matching 4 or 3+1 numbers. There were 44 lucky New York players won $200 prize by matching 4 or 3+1 numbers with Power Play purchased.
With nine different prize tiers, the Saturday night's drawing created 1,560,835 winning tickets nationwide with a total amount of $0 prizes.
Powerball is one of the most popular lottery games in the U.S. offered in 44 member states as a shared jackpot game. Powerball drawings are held 2 times a week every Wednesday and Saturday at 10:59 p.m. Eastern Time. To play, select 5 numbers from 1 to 69 and select one Powerball number from 1 to 26.
