No player hit all the Mega Millions five lotto numbers and the Mega Ball number for Friday, May 26th, 2023 (that includes you) and the 169,000,000 grand prize will keep growing bigger. No worries. That just gives us all an opportunity to win an even bigger Mega Millions lottery prize when the next drawing happens on Tuesday, May 30th, 2023. By then the projected jackpot will roll up to $187,000,000. The cash value will be a projected $$95.3 million up for grab. The winning numbers drawn Friday night, May 26th, 2023 were 12-20-37-41-64 with Mega Ball 01 and Megaplier x3.
Although there was no grand prize winner Friday evening, some people still walked away with big money. A total of 12 lucky players won the third prize. These included 12 tickets that matched 4 white numbers in addition to the Mega Ball and won $10,000.
Additional prizes won Friday evening included 222 tickets that matched 4 lotto numbers and won $500. There were 541 tickets that matched 3 white ball numbers as well as the Mega Ball and also won $200.
With nine prize tiers, there were 940,950 winning tickets sold nationwide in the Friday, May 26th, 2023 drawing.
Mega Millions lottery can be played in 43 states and D.C. It holds the record biggest jackpot of $656 million in U.S. lottery history. The chances of winning Mega Millions jackpot are about 1 in 302 million. The minimum Mega Millions grand prize starts at $40 million. The annuity option is paid in 30 equal yearly payments. Winners can select one lump sum cash payout instead.
